Three simple steps

1

Verify with your USC email

A 6-digit code goes to your @usc.edu or @alumni.usc.edu address. No password needed!

2

Browse the campus feed

Services, popups, sublets, and goods: every listing from a real USC student.

3

Request Contact

The seller reviews your profile & reviews and has 72 hours to approve. Then you connect and meet up.

One request, both sides

Every connection on Flipd starts the same way, and both people get the same amount of information before anyone commits.

FOR BUYERS

Request details freely with verified USC students

  1. Read the AI review first
Before you send, the safety layer summarises the seller: profile completeness and rating history.
  2. Send one message
Send an optional message about what you want and when you can meet.
  3. Wait for approval
Your contact details stay private until the seller approves. If they decline or the 72 hours pass, they never see them.
FOR SELLERS

You decide who reaches you.

  1. See who is asking
Their name, school, and year arrive with the request, alongside the same AI evaluation scored on profile completeness and past reviews.
  2. Read their message
Buyers can only send one message to start a conversation so you don't get spammed with questions.
  3. Approve within 72 hours
Approve and the chat opens for both of you. Decline, or let it expire, and nothing is exchanged.

Trust & safety is our
whole product

When you receive or make a request on Flipd, the AI safety layer scans the other person's profile and advises you before you proceed.
